Polling Changes in Store for Parts of Berks County

Residents of several townships in Berks County, Pennsylvania, will be voting at new locations in the upcoming elections. The Berks County elections board has approved changes to three polling locations. These changes will affect voters in Exeter, Bern, and Mohnton townships.

In Mohnton, the new permanent polling location will be the Mifflin Area YMCA at 140 Chestnut St. The previous location was Saint John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Exeter Township's 3rd Precinct will now vote at Lorane Elementary School, located at 699 Rittenhouse Drive. The previous location was the Exeter Village Recreation Building.

For Bern Township's 1st Precinct, the polling location will temporarily be moved to Victory Baptist Church at 1059 Victory Circle. The previous location was the Bern Township Municipal Building.

These changes will be in effect starting from the primary on April 23rd. Registered voters in the affected precincts will receive letters informing them of the new polling locations.

The changes aim to ensure that the voting process is as smooth and accessible as possible for all residents. It is important for voters to be aware of these changes to avoid any confusion on election day.
